# favicon.run

> favicon.run is a free favicon toolkit: fetch favicons from any website, generate them from an image / text / emoji, check their health, and embed any site's icon with one line of HTML. It exposes a public, no-auth, CORS-enabled Favicon API. English at / and 简体中文 at /zh.

favicon.run is multilingual (English at `/`, 简体中文 at `/zh`), supports dark mode, runs on Cloudflare Workers, and requires no sign-up. All tools are free.

CORS-enabled (`Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`), so it works directly from `<img>` tags and browsers. Example: `https://favicon.run/favicon?domain=github.com&sz=128`.
